Biography

Song Zheng Yin

Born in 1920, a native of Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, he graduated from the Art Department of Tokyo Art University in Japan. He once worked as professor of Shanghai Art Institute, Suzhou Art Institute and National Auhui University. Now he is professor of Nanjing Teachers’ University.  His works of painting took part in several exhibitions such as the Annual Exhibition in Tokyo Art Gallery, the Individual Exhibition of Oil Painting sponsored by Shanghai Youth Society, the Individual Exhibition of Oil Painting held in Jiangsu Art Gallery and other different exhibitions at national, provincial and municipal levels. His works won many prizes at home and abroad such as the college prize from Japan University, and some works were included in “Selected Paintings of the Eighties”, “Collections of Painting from the Art Department of Nanjing Teachers’ University” and “Picture Album of Jiansu’s Ten years”.
