Born in 1941, a native of Weifang, Shandong Province, he graduated from Zhejiang Institute of Fine Arts in 1964, and was employed in art creation and teaching work successively at Zhejiang Exhibition Center, Shangdong Art Center, Shandong Art Gallery and Shangdong Institute of Arts. Now he is associate professor and deputy director of the Fine Arts Department of Shangdong Institute of Arts. He is also member of Chinese Artists' Association. His works of painting "Fighting the Local Tyrant" (cooperation) and "Walking along the Long Street" were respectively awarded the second prize at the National Arts Exhibition for Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Founding of the Republic, and a bronze medal at the National Sixth Arts Exhibition. |
