Biography

Born in 1941 in Jinan, Shandong Province, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Zhejiang Institute of Fine Arts in 1967. Now he is secretary-general of Hangzhou Artists’ Association, councilor of Zhejiang Oil Painting Research Society and deputy secretary-general of Zhejiang Fresco Research Society.

His works “The Sixth Company with a Brilliant Military Victory” and “Catch and Kill” were shown at the Sixth National Arts Exhibition. The latter was elected an excellent work at the above exhibition. It was also awarded the Hangzhou Literature and Art Prize, and collected by China Art Gallery. “Cherish a Great Ambition” won the Literature and Art Creation Award of Hangzhou. His other works were in the collection of Zhejiang Museum and foreign countries.
