Biography

Born in 1943, a native of Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, he graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Beijing Arts Institute. He studied as a post-graduate at the Oil Painting Department of Nanjing Arts Institute in 1978. Now he is holding the posts of professor and vice-president in Nanjing Arts Institute, and is member of Chinese Artists’ Association.

His works of painting include “Drizzling at Ferry”, “Early Market at Yueqiao Town” and “For the Unity of Motherland”, etc. The representative work “Drizzling at Ferry” was chosen to be shown at China Oil Painting Exhibition, and “Spring in Small Town”, at National Sixth Art work Exhibition.
