Born in 1942 in Shanghai, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Zhejiang Institute of Fine Arts in 1966. Now he is holding the post of head of Zhejiang Painting and Calligraphy Studio. His works of painting respectively won the first prize at Zhejiang Oil Painting and Sculpture Exhibition, and the Literary and Art Award of Hangzhou. In 1978 he gave lectures in Chicago University, USA and held his solo show in Chicago. His works are in the collection of the Chinese Historical Museum and Beijing National Art Gallery. |
