¡@ | Born in 1932 in Gulang Islands, Amoy, Fujiang Province, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Lu Xun Arts Institute in 1955, and retained to work as a teacher in the same year. In 1975 he was transferred to the Fine Arts Department of Shanghai Drama Institute as director of the teaching and research section of oil painting. In 1980 he held the posts of director and associate professor of the teaching and research section of painting at the Stage Arts Department of the same institute. In1994 he was transferred to the Fine Arts College of Shanghai University as head of the Oil Painting Department. In 1987 he was promoted to be full professor. | ¡@ |
