Biography

Feng Huai Rong

Born in 1938, a native of Beijing, he graduated from Secondary School of Central Institute of Fine Arts in 1958. He was a graduate of Oil Painting Department of Central Institute of Fine Arts. He has been engaged in artistic educational work. He served as a teacher in the Art Department of Guizhou University. He is now professor at Art Department of Teachers’ University in Beijing. He specializes in portrait and landscape. His paintings were on display in many exhibitions held in China and abroad. Some of his works were published, honored and collected. He is also member of Chinese Artists’ Association.

He toured several times along the “Silk Road” regions and many paintings were drawn from his tour. His works drawn from “Silk Road” won many prizes. He participated in many exhibitions both in China and abroad, including China Art Exhibition, Beijing Art Exhibition, Beijing Oil Painting Exhibition, Chinese Modern Painting Exhibition in Singapore, Chinese Contemporary Painting Exhibition in Hong Kong,

First Annual Chinese Oil Painting Exhibition, etc. His Selected Oil Paintings were published by People’s Art Publications in Tienjin in 1996.
